Shih-Ting (Avis) Chiu, L.Ac joined Dr. Moelleken’s practice as an acupuncturist in 2010. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture from South Baylo University in Anaheim, California. In addition, Avis is a Certified Therapeutic massage and bodywork therapist, licensed Pharmacy technician, herbalist and qualified Medical Back Office assistant.
Avis is devoted to alternative medicine and incorporates her practice closely with Western medicine. In her treatment, she uses multiple approaches to help relieve patient symptoms, and employs a needling technique that is gentle and painless. Her areas of expertise with Oriental medicine and Holistic Therapy include Pain management, Weight Control, Migraine, Gastric disorder, Depression and Anxiety.
