Fredd Dunham, LAc LMT

Fredd is a Diplomate in Acupuncture (certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine), who joined The Spine and Orthopedic Center in 2008. He attended San Jose State College from 1964 to 1968, where he studied behavior science and music. In 2001 he decided on a career change and attended the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine, graduating in 2005. He has also studied massage, concentrating on medical massage as a former member of the US Medical Massage Association. Since graduating from the College of Oriental Medicine, Fredd has studied various styles of acupuncture, including a two-year program of study with Dr. Miki Shima in Japanese style acupuncture (including painless acupuncture treatment), Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture (certified by the Auriculotherapy Certification Institute). In addition, he studied Acupuncture Orthopedics in a year-long program taught by Dr. Fred Lerner at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills, CA. Recently, Fredd studied with Dr. Richard Tan to learn his unique style of acupuncture treatment. Fredd's varied training enables him to approach patient care from different perspectives of acupuncture treatment in order to assist patients in their healing. In his spare time he enjoys meditating, making music, and ballroom dancing.
