Jaewoo You, LAc

Jaewoo joined Dr. Moelleken’s practice as an acupuncturist in 2009, where he offers his service as an acupuncturist out of the Oxnard office.  He attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated in 1998 with a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics, where after he worked as a programmer analyst. He later became interested in Asian Medicine as a result of his brother’s fight against chronic kidney disease, and subsequently completed a variety of programs in Asian Medicine in both the US and Korea. Upon completion of these studies, Jaewoo attended Southern California University-School of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated in 2008 with an M.S. in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture, and a focus in the application of Acupuncture in musculoskeletal conditions. He additionally completed USC’s Acupuncture Orthopedics program in 2008. After finishing his clinical rotation, Jaewoo worked at multiple clinics while attending SCU-SOMA. In his spare time, Jaewoo enjoys spending time with his wife, who is also an acupuncturist, and their daughter.
