JOSEPH C. CARTER, PA-C, MPAS

Joe grew up outside of Columbus, Ohio and moved to Los Angeles, California after high school. He joined the United States Army as an infantryman in 2002 and has served overseas in Afghanistan where he received the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service. Joe continues to serve in the National Guard as a Medical Specialist Officer. After exiting active duty, he earned his EMT-B while finishing college.

Joe received a Bachelor of Science degree through Excelsior College in 2013. He then was accepted into the military’s Interservice Physican Assistant Program (IPAP) in 2015 through the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He received a second Bachelor of Science degree in 2017 and his Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree in 2018. Joe was inducted into Pi Alpha, the national honor society for physician assistants while attending IPAP.
