Josie attended the University of California Santa Barbara, where she graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Cell and Developmental Biology. After working in the healthcare field for 3 years, she decided to pursue a career as a physician assistant and attended the Physician Assistant program at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, where she graduated in 2011 with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. During her studies, Josie participated in multiple rotations, including family practice, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and general/trauma orthopedic surgery at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
