James Kinchsular, DPM

Dr. Kinchsular joined The Spine & Orthopedic Center in 2010 and treats both surgical and non-surgical foot and ankle problems including bunions, hammertoes, fractures of the foot and ankle, flatfoot deformities, arthritic foot and ankle conditions, ingrown toenails, heel pain, neuromas, and general foot pain. He has a special interest in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, ankle arthroscopy, and sports medicine.
He received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Michigan. Prior to starting his podiatric training, he spent time abroad working, traveling and hiking in Europe, New Zealand, and Australia, and worked as a research associate in a biotechnology company outside of Boston, MA. He earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and subsequently completed a 3-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at the Kaiser North Bay Consortium in Vallejo, San Rosa, and San Rafael, CA.He is currently a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), and the California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA).
His outside interests include hiking, snowboarding, surfing, and Ultimate frisbee.
