WELCOME TO THE SPINE AND ORTHOPEDIC CENTER

SPine and ortho At the Spine and Orthopedic Center, we are committed to providing our patients with the highest quality care relating to back and neck conditions. Additionally, we also specialize in treatment of orthopedic conditions, including shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, and foot conditions.

We believe that patients benefit from a conservative (non-surgical), multi-disciplinary approach to treatment.

Our focus is on addressing total patient care by guiding our patients through the process of diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and re-injury prevention. Treatment options include pain management, spinal injections, and, if necessary, minimally invasive surgeries such as outpatient microdiscectomy and spinal fusion surgery. In combination, this broad-based variety of modalities helps to ensure our patients receive a comprehensive approach to recovery.

Here at The Spine & Orthopedic Center, our dedicated team of physicians includes Dr. Alan Moelleken, Dr. Tristan Zhang, Dr. Jason Hartman, and Dr. Daniel Rafie who bring with them decades of combined experience.

  • Dr. Moelleken is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and is spine fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Surgery and Neurosurgery. He specializes in surgical and non-surgical spine treatment.
  • Dr. Zhang is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and fellowship-trained in Interventional Pain Management. He specializes in interventional spine procedures, pain management, musculoskeletal injuries, regenerative medicine, and nerve conduction studies/electromyography.
  • Dr. Hartman is board certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, and is board certified and fellowship-trained in Pain Medicine. He specializes in musculoskeletal injuries, sports medicine, and a wide range of interventional pain procedures.
  • Dr. Rafie is board certified in Neurology and Traumatic Brain Injury Medicine, fellowship-trained in Sports Neurology, and specializes in headache, concussion, and interventional spine procedures.
