Board Certified Physician Assistant
Raquel Loustau is a Los Angeles native, born and raised in Lancaster California. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Notre Dame College with minors in Chemistry and Art History. While an undergraduate student, Raquel was a NCAA athlete for her college swimming and diving team as well as water polo team. She also spent her time volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House.
Prior to attending graduate school, Raquel worked as a pediatric ophthalmology technician at Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA and as an EMT for Universal Studios Hollywood. During her didactic year, she would spend the first Saturday of every month volunteering with the Trinitarians of Mary as part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to the underserved community of Tecate, Mexico. Raquel completed 9 clinical rotations throughout California and graduated from Western University of Health Sciences with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies.
In her spare time Raquel likes participating in competitive open water swimming, attending music concerts, adventuring on hikes with her two dogs, and spending time at local museums.
