Board Certified Physician Assistant
Born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, Taylor earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of Arizona, with a major in Business Management and a minor in Biochemistry. While an undergraduate student, Taylor became involved with the university sports medicine team. He assisted the physicians, athletic trainers and other practitioners in providing nationally recognized sports medicine treatment for the university athletes. An avid leader and volunteer, Taylor was a founding member of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. His undergraduate leadership efforts with the fraternity led to a variety of community health advancements. Prior to graduate school, Taylor pursued an EMT certification, and continued to enhance his knowledge of sports medicine and orthopedics while practicing as a physical therapy technician.
He graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant (MSPA) at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Louisville, Kentucky. Throughout his clinical training, he completed 8 rotations in various specialties throughout the Kentucky and Southern Indiana area. He elected to pursue an additional rotation in Orthopedic Spine Surgery in New Albany, Indiana, and acquired more than 5 months of surgical first assist experience prior to graduating.
Taylor endeavors to provide exceptional patient-focused care, and assists Dr. Moelleken in surgery at the Carrillo Surgery Center. He has a passion for travel, hiking and serving his community, and continues to volunteer throughout the Santa Barbara County.
